Kiara is a junior at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego.  She served as PILT's Co-Director of Senior Support in the 2021-2022 school year.

Kiara is the junior class officer of the Scripps Ranch HS chapter of the California Scholarship Foundation (CSF), having served in the same role last year as the sophomore class officer. Her position entails promoting academic achievement together with community involvement and community service to create a balanced lifestyle for her school community. Kiara completed a summer school leadership class in 2021. She is also a volunteer tennis coach at her community recreation center which she does in an effort to "give back" since it was there that she first learned to play tennis. She also coaches tennis as a part-time job. To honor her heritage, Kiara has  spent time volunteering at orphanages in Mexico. 

Kiara enjoys helping others and believes it is important to give back to the community. She enjoys all sports, especially tennis and swimming. Her favorite subjects are biology and math, and her hobbies are baking, drawing, and hanging out with friends.

Kiara speaks English, Spanish, and German.
