2021-2022 Academic Year

Brayden founded PILT on August 20, 2021 with Camila, Kiara, and Lauren as its founding members representing 3 schools in 2 San Diego County school districts.  Initially through 2 projects, and later through 6, PILT's focus was to assist PATH San Diego's unhoused and newly-housed clients as well as those in transition.  In this 1st year of operation, PILT engaged community partners such as IKEA San Diego, the Helen Woodward Animal Center, and the San Diego Humane Society to support PATH.  Lauren left PILT and Kelly joined, and by the end of the school year, PILT was represented at 7 schools in 4 San Diego County school districts.
