San Diego High School first started helping out PILT when Aya connected us with the SDHS staff. Ms. Brown donated clothes from SDHS’s clothing cabinet to benefit community members in November 2023. The donated clothes were distributed to the shelters PATH San Diego and StandUp for Kids. 

 

Since then, the majority of PILT members attend SDHS, either as freshman or sophomores. Minori, Aya, Nicolo, Esli, and Margaret founded Community Outreach Club, a PILT partner that provides a way for students to help people experiencing homelessness on campus and during school hours. Since then, Eden, Keila, Olivia, Shekoda, and Vivienne have joined the club. Thank you to our advisor, Ms. Brown, who made San Diego High PILT’s 15th partner school and continues to support our projects

 

At SDHS all our PILT members are part of Community Outreach Club. They include Minori, Aya, Nicolo, Margaret, Olivia, Shekoda, and Vivienne.
